Clearly, I decided to post it-because THIS is the problem. This woman right here is why we need #blacklivesmatter to be heard. ⠀
This woman, “Casey Ann” (whom I don’t know) was upset by my Instagram story post yesterday about a book I’m listening to called “White Fragility”. She attacked me and started spewing embarrassingly incorrect information about who and how this country was built. It’s disgusting.

She also thought she was attacking a black woman. While I’m not black, my son is mixed- and I will always stand for what is right and just.

Small businesses often rely on the support of our local communities but that doesn’t mean we are so weak that we need or want support from this type of ignorance.

And yes, I’m sharing her info here and any other social platform I belong to.. because she needs to be publicly shamed. ✊🏻✊🏼✊🏽✊🏾✊🏿

The piriformis muscle is located in the buttocks 🍑 region, and when it’s tight and cranky it can aggravate the sciatic nerve that runs right underneath it- causing pain and discomfort...

So many of us have maybe been sitting for longer t So many of us have maybe been sitting for longer than normal, at least I have 🙋🏻‍♀️ My hips are cranky and my Piriformis Muscle is even crankier..

The Piriformis muscle is a small muscle located deep in the buttock, behind the gluteus maximus, it being tight and cranky can lead to sciatic pain because the sciatic nerve lives right under the Piriformis..

This is where Pigeon Pose comes in- it can be super helpful in finding relief from sciatic and back pain as well as releasing built up stress, trauma, fear, and anxiety.

🧘🏽‍♀️From all fours, bring your right knee forward towards your right wrist. Depending on your body it may be just behind your wrist or to the outer or the inner edge of it.
🧘🏽‍♀️Experiment with what feels right for you, giving you a stretch on your outer hip without any discomfort in your knee.
🧘🏽‍♀️Your right ankle will be somewhere in front of your left hip.
🧘🏽‍♀️Slide your left leg back and point your toes, your heel is pointing up to the ceiling.
🧘🏽‍♀️Scissor your hips together, by drawing your legs in towards each other. 🧘🏽‍♀️Use some support under your right buttock if needed, to keep your hips level.
🧘🏽‍♀️As you inhale, come onto your fingertips, lengthen your spine, draw your navel in and open your chest.
🧘🏽‍♀️As you exhale, walk your hands forward and lower your upper body towards the floor. You can rest your forearms and forehead on the mat.
🧘🏽‍♀️Stay for 5 breaths or longer.
🧘🏽‍♀️On each exhalation, try to release the tension in your right hip.
🧘🏽‍♀️To come out of the pose, push back through the hands, lift your hips and move your leg back into all fours. Repeat on the other side
